Customers must wear Face Coverings within our premises. This includes service and rental customers. Will all customers please remove all personal PPE equipment from their vehicles upon arrival.
Following the Government Announcement, we are mandating the wearing of face coverings for customers inside any of our buildings.
Please bring your own face covering and put it on before coming inside.

These measures are in addition to the sanitisation and safety measures, described below.

We are pleased to be offering a delivery and collection service.*
For customers dropping off and collecting their vehicles, we would request that you enter the dealership alone.
We will be offering an increased number of courtesy cars subject to availability.

General guidance whilst visiting Golds Garages Ford
We operate a social distancing policy.
When visiting Golds Garages Ford, please come with a maximum of one family member. For workshop appointments, please come alone where possible.

Hand sanitiser will be available inside our service & rental areas. We will unfortunately not be offering handshakes but will greet you in our normal friendly manner.
Cars and open areas will be cleaned more regularly in accordance with goverment guidelines.
No refreshments will be served in the dealership.

Servicing, Repairs and MOTs
All staff in our workshop will be wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - gloves, masks and coverings whilst working on your car.
To enable us to manage the flow of customers, we are asking customers to make an appointment online or via the phone prior to your visit. Contact details can be found on our website.

Your vehicle will be sanitised on the way in and out of our workshop. Protective covers will be fitted to most touched areas including seat and steering wheel.
Your key will also be sanitised and returned in a plastic bag. To enable us to do this, we request you to remove your car key from any other keys or key rings before handing over to us.

In terms of any relevant paperwork and invoicing for the work carried out, we will, wherever possible, supply this electronically and payments will only be accepted via debit or credit card.
As part of our duty of care, we will perform a full vehicle health check where we identify any additional work, immediate or advisory we will send a video to show the work required. No invoiced work will be carried out without your express approval.
Please remove any bottles of hand sanitiser from your vehicle before your service or MOT. In warm weather, bottles of alcohol based hand sanitiser left in unaccompanied vehicles can heat up and present a fire hazard. All customers are requested to REMOVE ALL personal PPE equipment from their vehicles upon arrival.
